How was your week?

I haven't posted anything in ages, sorry.

Well, guess what I saw outside my window when I woke up: SNOW!!!!

Yes,finally after heeps of rain we got some snow, even if it was the wet doesn't last kind, but still.

So...I recently read 3 books: Looking for alaska, It's kind of a funny story and go ask alice. I'm now reading the last book of Demonata: Hell's heroes. YES. I love Darren Shan he is a fantastic author.

Moving on, we are now watching Lost. My brother is addicted and bought the first 2 seasons on dvd and were on episode 11, I think. Its quite good but very mysterious and not at all what I thougt it would be like. It also has one of my favorite actors in it: Dominic Monaghan.

Yukon musher

In the emails my brother sends he refers to himself as Yukon musher. hahaha. An explanation: My brother is currently working as an apprentice musher for a man called Hugh Neff who is a musher and who races in the Yukon quest!! Lucky boy. Even if I miss him and even if he now lives in a small cabin thousands of miles away I'm still glad he's were he wants to be and not stuck in the city not working.

I haven't being up to much this week, last weekend I babysat and it went really well! Monday I woke up with a really bad headache so I stayed in bed till 11:30 then I just trudged around the house drinking water and watching sappy Japanese drama's. Tomorrow I have no school so me and a bunch of friends are going to go see the Body's exhibition at the eaten center. Huzzah.

The person I mentioned in earlier posts well I'm pretty sure we're just friends and I'm glad it's that way because I discovered he's in love with a wonderful young girl and I just want to be happy for him not jealous.

Soooo.... what else, today at lunch my friend did this hilarious thing that you only see in funny movies or comics: he tried to kick as high as he could and his pants ripped I haven't laughed that much in ages!!!

I still haven't posted those New york pictures...one day, one day...maybe.

hahaha

Sorry for the lack of posts, I wasn't really feeling in the posting mood last week...

Lets see what were my highlights of the week:

1-I PASSED MATH! YES!!!!!

2-I passed all my classes this session!

3-I got closer to him.

4-I spent the whole weekend with my best friend in Ottawa.

5-My dog was just adorable

My friend Mariana is reading: The zombie guide to survival, its brilliant and i'm thinking of going to buy it.

I really should post those pictures of my N-Y trip... I keep forgetting. Darn.

Im watching V now. the new alien show. Its good yet strange.

I was feeling really down yesterday afternoon for no logical reason, strange how life is like that sometimes.

Today around 12:30 me and 41 teenagers+3 teachers got back from our weekend trip to New York.

It was great. Even if we did do too much shopping. haha. Strange thing for a girl to say.

Today-14Th October 2009

~First SNOW~ Already, wow. I have to say I was pretty shocked when I was walking the dog and noticed something...white...and fluttery coming down from the sky,surprise surprise it was snowflakes. October 14Th, wow Canada is a crazy place! Don't get me wrong I love snow. It's beautiful but I very much dislike the cold and unfortunately snow and cold come together*sniff*.

Recently Ive been reading a blog called La petite sirene, Art adventures of the little mermaid.

It really inspired me. This young woman is a fantastic artist, and her determination and talent was quite inspiring. It made me want to get up, draw, paint, or just visit gallery's is New York. So Ive decided that despite my lack at art talent, I will try to start drawing. Or maybe ill just carry a camera around... It seems photography is one of my talents...I think.

There are some days when I just feel really useless. Like I should get up and do something, then I think, but what? Draw a tree, take a picture, read a book, go for a walk, clean my room, organize my clothes. But I don't feel like doing any of those things. I just feel like sipping hot coco while watching old Disney classics.

These days fashion is fascinating me. hem, wonder why? =)

Disney films are also my new obsession. Ive been watching them none stop.

Second week of school almost over. We had a weird yet cool experiment in science today, the whole class held hands and then one guy touched this bottle type thing with a small ball at the end and we all got a shock, because the small bottle thingy had just been charged with electricity from an larger ball. Hem that sounded confusing. Well it was fun and exhilarating!

I just watched Eagle Eye, it was good. Shia leboeuf was very good in it, I was definatly on the edge of my seat. And guess what i find Shia quite good looking, hem. I'm now reading the adoration of Jenna Fox. Confusing yet good.

So today...school... drama was fun, very funny! la la la I had to walk home...lazy friends!! but its okay I read my book all the way home...almost walked into a pole, hehe.

A while ago a friend of my mom sent us an email with a link to a youtube video, It was about a organization called playing for change. which is actually a movie/cd that well...connects people around the world using music. Its fantastic.

The screen play writer of Juno is making a new movies called Jennifer's body. Its about a teenager in high school who gets possessed by a demon and becomes a cannibal. I want to see it except it 17 and over. Darn

First week of school is finally over. whew, it was a rush, and guess what? I  barely got any homework. Yai!

I finished the perks of been a wallflower, it was very good. not my usual read but I'm glad I read it, I'm going to indigo this weekend to buy more books, for I've run out...

Did you know, cheetah's are one of my favorite animals, they are beautiful and so fast and powerful.

A friend of mine at school is planning on starting a book club with our last year's English teacher!!!

I was pretty exited at the news, considering how much i love to read. Cant wait to hear more about it.

What i would like to buy is a pop art camera, I discovered it on an other blog and looked it up on the all mighty google, its only about 20$ :)

the perks of been a wallflower

Well first day over.only 179 to go...

and the stupid school didn't give be the right horaire.*sigh*

School is supposed to be harder this year, something I'm not looking forward to, but this is a promise to myself I'm going to work harder this year, no slacking off... Ok maybe just a little slacking off, ha ha. I started "the perks of been a wallflower" I think its going to be good.

I find it kind of strange that when i was looking at an other blog there were so many people that subscribed to it, because that means that those people enjoy reading about the life of someone they possibly don't know. I also realised I'm one of those people, its interesting to see someone else's perspective on life.

My dad is in Scotland now, lucky man.

Well, my first post.This is actually my first blog, my thoughts tend to stay in my head usually. 

Goodness i fell so old this week, which is pretty stupid of me to say, considering how young i am, but really secondary 4! part of the big kids now, wow.

School starts tomorrow, woupi...

I finished a new book yesterday, city of beasts, it was good, considering i bought it in a second hand store in Edinburgh.

Me and my mum discussed movies today. We have a lot in common.

I'm not to sure what people talk about on blogs..daily life i guess. there problems. But what should i talk about?

The house smells good, mum's cooking.

just so you know everyone...I AM OBSESSED WITH BOOKS. my mum often asks me what i would do if i didn't have books I reply that I would die...a bit dramatic.
